"From reading the course
description, talking with my Case Manager, and doing the labour market
research, I knew it would be a good choice. I worked very hard, long
hours; it made me realize that I am a lot stronger than I thought. I
felt a big sense of accomplishment with every project I completed. This
set a great example for my son (I’m a single parent.) Hard work and
achieving your goals, prepares you for the future. When I began
training, my son started high school.
Now, 2 years later, he’s on the honour roll and I am graduating with
honours! I have been offered a job in a career I love.
The sky’s the limit. I plan to continue my education in Mental Health
and addictions while working. My advice for others… Your goals are fully
attainable, hard work and persistence is what’s needed to change your
future. “
